This may be a game box and not related to dosbox, though I don't recall it when I played the game a long time back. Save often! Once I finished the level, I could not continue, it would hang when I tried to exit the level. I had problems on the final level where the game would frequently crash.

The core2/intel processor can run it in hi res mode fairly well.

Once I switched to a different render engine, it worked great. I had problems with the default graphics mode being choppy. Really works great, running in low resolution on my Pentium 3, 1GHz, 256MB RAM Thinkpad under SUSE Linux 10.0, KDE 3.4. It was very slow at first, but then i changed 'core' to 'dynamic' and 'cycles' to 'auto' in nf, and it runs like a charm, even in fullscreen mode. I just played about 10 levels yesterday night without any problems. Is it just me or is there a way to do this? when i look up and go forward i do not go up. I am wondering is there a way to reverse the mouse to make forward up? Also for some reason i remember being able to change altitude. That's the message I get as the game tries to load. "Error creating setup directories" ( 11:46) You need to set the setup to find the right directorie just go to the readme in the Magic Carpet folder and read the part "MAGIC CARPET 2 ON NON C: LOCAL DRIVE" that will tell you what to do.

How to fix "Error creating setup directories" ( 14:25) Instead the monitor turns black and stays like this until I stop DosboxĪny idea if you can run a networked game of MC2 under Dosbox? Apparently you need to run the old NetBIOS program, which sounds a bit dubious. When I press "R" ingame the resolution should switch to SuperVGA. Version 0.73 - Problems with HighRes ( 10:08) Set the sound as in old good games (midi and soundblaster 16), and then the sound was ok :) I downloaded MC2 iso file, tried to start it with imgmount, but then the program cried, that it can not create setup folders.

Seems to work fine in low resolution, is it possible to run this on a 2Ghz Intel CPU in high resolution? Sound is always a bit choppy it seems here, with Soundblaster Pro selected.įor me Magic Carpet 2 runs smoothly until it crashes suddenly, giving a division by zero error.

High Resolution? Is it possible? ( 21:26)
#Monopoly pc game 1995 iso driver
To play full screen its recommended the video driver is set at 640 x 480 SVGA resolution, as the game is fixed at that resolution and wont adjust for a higher resolution. AMD Mobility RADEON HD 5000 Series (5650) Win32s and WinG are included on the CD and can be installed during the Monopoly setup program.
